Castellano Law serves San Francisco's immigrant communities and working families β navigating the U.S. immigration system and fighting for full compensation after serious accidents. We've been doing this for over a decade. We do it in your language.
We represent San Francisco's working families, immigrants, and those who need an attorney who understands what's truly at stake β not just legally, but personally.
Family petitions, employment visas, green cards, DACA renewals, citizenship, and deportation defense. We guide clients through one of life's most consequential legal processes β with patience, honesty, and results.
Car accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and workplace injuries. We fight for maximum compensation against negligent drivers, property owners, and corporations.
Catastrophic injuries from commercial truck accidents require aggressive legal action. We build cases that expose the full liability of carriers, drivers, and insurers β and we go to trial if necessary.
Sponsoring a spouse, child, parent, or sibling for U.S. immigration benefits. We handle the entire petition process and represent families through USCIS interviews.
Fleeing persecution, violence, or political threats in your home country. We build compelling asylum applications and represent clients in immigration court hearings with compassion and expertise.
We prepare N-400 naturalization applications with the thoroughness they deserve. Our clients' pass rates exceed the national average β because we prepare them to succeed, not just apply.

Elena Castellano grew up in the Mission District, the daughter of a Guatemalan immigrant father and a Filipina mother. Navigating U.S. immigration from the inside of a family that lived it β that's not something she studied. It's something she experienced.
After graduating from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2009, Elena spent two years at Bay Area Legal Aid before launching Castellano Law in 2011 with the explicit mission of serving immigrant and working-class families in San Francisco who deserved the same quality of representation as anyone else.
Today, Elena leads a bilingual team of four attorneys and six paralegals. She is fluent in English and Spanish, conversational in Tagalog, and has been recognized by San Francisco Magazine's Top Lawyers every year since 2017. She is a frequent speaker at DACA renewal workshops and serves on the board of the Bay Area Immigration Legal Services Coalition.
"Elena fought for our family for 18 months when we had given up hope. She was the only attorney who explained the process clearly without making us feel like a number. We have our green cards today because of her."
"I was hit by a truck on Market Street and couldn't work for eight months. Castellano Law recovered $620,000 for me. They handled everything β I just focused on healing."
"My asylum case was denied twice before I found Elena. She took on my case when no one else would. My third application was approved. I am safe here because of her work."
